Carla B. Guttmann A-List Festival Coach

About:

Carla B. Guttmann is an international director whose films have premiered at TIFF, Karlovy
Vary, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Santa Barbara amongst others. She is a member of the
German Directors Guild (BVR) and a native of Montreal Canada.
Carla has written and directed the award winning film “The Double Woman,” the collaborative
film “Crossing Paths” and the documentary “Making Heart of Fire” for TV60 Filmproduktion.
The latter was broadcast on the Bayerischen Rundfunk on German television. She has attended
numerous markets and industry conferences including the EFM at Berlinale, the Marché de Film
at Cannes, the Venice Film Festival industry conference, the TIFF industry conference, the TV
Drama Vision at Gothenburg Film Festival, and the Gotham Week in NYC.
Carla began her coaching company A-LIST FESTIVAL COACH in 2017 to share her knowledge
with actors about navigating top festivals. Her clients have felt greater empowerment while
attending A-list festivals, were cast by international directors while at festivals, acquired
